Life expectancy and wealth Video
Today we watched a video about populations. I thought it was very interesting how the population of areas of the world has increased and gotten richer and healthier over time. In 1810, Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa, and The Americas all had around the same life expectancy and wealth, but now it is very different. Once the industrial revolution happened, the Americas, Europe, and The Middle East had a income and life expectancy increase. When this happened, Africa and Asia pretty much stayed the same at the bottom left side of the chart. Now, it has evened out a little bit, but there is still a bit of a gap.
