Today in Human Geography, we learned about different population pyramids. We looked at different counties in random states. We discussed why some were different weird shapes. For example, one was an Indian Reservation which had very little kids, but good amount of older people. Once the kids were old enough to move out, they did. We also looked at world populations from 1950 all the way to 2100. We also looked at the population of Japan. I am scared for Japan because their population is shrinking, and it will start shrinking even more rapidly because they aren’t having babies. We don’t know what is going to happen to them, so I am a little fearful for them. I also find it crazy how the population of Africa increased by 10 in 30 years.
